How a visit works

  1. Step 1

We walk the home and count supply and return ducts so the package matches the house.

  2. Step 2

You approve the package price, and any add-on, before we start.

  3. Step 3

We protect the work area, remove washable covers, and Rotobrush the included supply runs and main return while a TurboJet Max negative-air machine pulls the debris out.

  4. Step 4

We wash and reinstall those covers, clean the return grille, and do the visual checks included in the package.

The U.S. EPA notes that duct cleaning has not been shown to prevent health problems in most cases. We describe this work as removing dust and debris from the ducts we clean. EPA: Should You Have the Air Ducts in Your Home Cleaned?

Questions

What is included in each deep-cleaning package?
Small Home Deep Cleaning ($349) includes deep cleaning of up to 7 supply ducts and 1 main return duct. Standard Home Deep Cleaning ($499) includes deep cleaning of up to 11 supply ducts and 1 main return duct. Both use Rotobrush mechanical agitation with TurboJet Max negative-air cleaning, include removing, washing, and reinstalling the vent covers, cleaning the return grille, before-and-after photos where appropriate, the Vital Oxide Sanitizing Treatment (a $149 value, applied where the product label allows), and a visual check of accessible dryer-vent and AC-coil components. Additional supply or return ducts are $50 each.
How do I choose between seven and ten supply ducts?
Count the supply ducts that blow air into rooms, not the return grilles. Up to 7 supply ducts fits Small Home ($349). For 8 or 9, it's Small Home plus $50 for each extra duct ($399 or $449). 10 or 11 fits Standard Home ($499, up to 11). More than 11 is Standard Home plus $50 for each additional supply duct. Both packages include 1 main return; each additional return duct is $50. We confirm the duct count and the final scope on the free on-site estimate before any work begins.
Is return-duct cleaning included?
Yes. Both deep-cleaning packages include deep cleaning of 1 main return duct, plus the return grille. Each additional return duct is $50, confirmed on the estimate before we start.
What happens if my home needs additional work?
We stop at the package scope unless you approve more. Additional supply and return ducts are $50 each. Coil cleaning, blower cleaning, plenum work, mold-related work, repairs or duct replacement, and unusual access are quoted after inspection. You see the price and approve it before that work begins.
How much is dryer vent cleaning?
Dryer vent deep cleaning is $129 on its own, $99 when added to a $349 or $499 deep-cleaning package, and included in the $199 Residential Maintenance Package. Roof-access dryer vents are usually $100–$300 extra, priced before any work.
What is the $199 Residential Maintenance Package?
It is our recommended yearly maintenance visit. It includes deep cleaning of 1 main return duct, dryer vent deep cleaning, and a visual HVAC system inspection with photos so you can see the condition of your system. Roof-access dryer vents are usually $100–$300 extra, priced before any work. It is available to every homeowner. When your supply ducts are due for a full cleaning, the Small Home ($349) and Standard Home ($499) deep-cleaning packages cover them.
What is the Vital Oxide Sanitizing Treatment?
It is included with the $349 and $499 deep-cleaning packages, and it is $149 per HVAC system when purchased separately. Vital Oxide is an EPA-registered antimicrobial product applied to treated HVAC and duct surfaces after cleaning to help control odor-causing bacteria, mold fungus, and odor-causing fungi. We follow the product label: it is applied only to labeled surfaces, after the system is cleaned and any visible growth is removed. It is not a medical treatment and we make no health claims.
What does the $250 UV light include?
The $250 UV Light Installation is the UV unit plus professional installation in a compatible HVAC system, not just a bulb. Your quote lists the specific unit and warranty.
How does the free on-site estimate work?
Not sure which package fits your home? Request a free on-site estimate. We confirm the duct count, the final scope, and the total price before any work begins. Anything additional is quoted first and done only with your approval.
What equipment do you use?
Supply and return ducts are deep cleaned with a Rotobrush mechanical agitation system while a TurboJet Max negative-air machine pulls the loosened dust out of the duct. Dryer vents are cleaned with a separate rotary snake brush.
How should I prepare for the visit?
Clear a path to the supply vents, return grille, and air handler. Move fragile items away from the registers we will remove. Plan for someone to be home who can approve any add-on before we do it. The visual check is not mold testing, a mold assessment, or a full HVAC diagnostic.
